King crab
Emperor crab, also known as stone crab or rock crab, is a crustacean of the stone crab family. It is not a true crab and is mainly distributed in cold sea areas. Named after its enormous size, it is known as the "King of Crabs". The king crab belongs to the deep-sea crab class, with a survival depth of up to 850 meters and a survival water temperature of 2-5 ℃. The minimum water temperature at which the king crab can survive is 1.4 ℃. Due to their large size and delicious meat, many species are widely caught as food, among which the most common is the Kamchatka stone crab.
